Character Traits

Here is the work we're doing Monday and Tuesday of this week in English 9.

Identify the entrance and initial description of each of the new characters introduced in pages 17-37.

Choose three of these characters and think of some real person who has similar character traits.

These similarities can be physical, personal or a combination of both.
Be sure to describe in one short paragraph what the character and the real person have in common. For this paragraph you are not required to follow the SHAPER guidelines, but you can if you find them helpful.

Here is the worksheet that was handed out today. Remember, what you turn in should simply be one full paragraph, but you would do well to use a shaper to make sure you cover all the requirements explained in the worksheet.

Homework for Thursday

Read pp. 1-16 of Of Mice and Men. There will be a short quiz on the reading at the beginning of class Thursday.
